Keith Petty honoured at Presentation Day

At the end of season presentation event at Jubilee Field Sway FC made a special tribute to long-serving linesman Keith Petty by presenting him with the John Rushton Trophy. Keith has been running the line for Sway since the 1960s, hardly missing a game. The trophy is presented in honour of the late John Rushton who was a local sports enthusiast. It is presented on an annual basis by one of the four Jubilee Field sports clubs, this year being the turn of Sway FC.
Amongst the players Ben Haffenden cleaned up most of the awards winning U18s Manager's Player, Players Player, Presidents Young Player of the year and Top Scorer for the Reserves. The U18s Golden Boot went to Aidan Lacy whilst James Langdown was awarded the U18s Most Improved Player award.
For the Reserves, Tom Ritchie received the Manager's Player award with Josh Borrowdale receiving the Players' Player award.
The First Team award for top scorer went to Matt Hillyar.
