After going 3-1 up, the Reserves had to battle hard to keep a determined Manor at bay to secure another three points.
Lee Gilbert put us ahead after 19 minutes, heading in a bouncing ball that somehow eluded the defender. Two minutes later we were 2-0 up as the ever busy Joel Fields crossed in from the left to provide a tap-in for Harry Boyt. But Manor pulled one back as Sway lost the ball in midfield and a defence-splitting pass put Manor's forward free to score past Rob Old.
Soon after the break we were 3-1 up thanks to a penalty calmly put away by Jack Herbert. Manor then fought back strongly and Sway had to rely on several good saves from Old to prevent a come-back. At the other end, Sway came close to a fourth when Joel Fields hit the side-netting and through a long range shot from Dan Marks that zipped over the bar.
The result extends the Reserves undefeated run to eleven games.
Sway: Rob Old, Nick Broom, Aaron Hurdle, Rhys Williams, Lee Gilbert (c), Chris Forbes, Joel Fields, Paul Jordan, Dan Marks, Harry Boyt, Subs: Ryan Anderson, Jake Fields, Lee Baxter.
