Turkish delight for Sway Reserves
Fordingbridge Turks 0 Sway Reserves 4
Bournemouth Hayward Division 1
Saturday 11th February 2017
Sway started fast on a cold Saturday afternoon with Joel Fields continuing his great run of form and giving Sway the lead within the first 15 minutes.
Five minutes later, Fordingbridge were through on goal before Rhys Williams made what looked like one of the tackles of the season. However, the referee saw it differently and awarded a penalty.
Sway hearts were lifted though, as Rob Old dived to his left to keep the penalty out and Sway in the game!
Just before the break, Williams doubled our lead with a great strike from ten yards.
The tempo of the second half was very slow, but two goals from goal-machine, Jack Herbert, made it a comfortable win. Herbert has scored five goals in three games while the Reserves have gone nine games without defeat.
