U18s run leaders close
Hampshire Youth U18 League Division 2
Eastleigh U18s 4 Sway U18s 3
Sunday 25th October
Sway travelled to the very poor Southampton Outdoor Sport Centre to play top of the table Eastleigh. A much improved display saw Sway race to a 0-3 lead, with goals from Sam Chown, Ben Bateman and Josh Thompson. However, this was undone within the space of two minutes when they gave away a cheap goal; and then a penalty! With the score at 2-3 Sway missed a penalty which boosted Eastleigh who then levelled the score through an unfortunate own goal. In the final five minutes Eastleigh sneeked the winner, with the management more than pleased with the performance but not the result.
The U18s' next three games are against teams just above them so they are looking to gain points and league positions with 9 points up for grabs.
